The growth of Algae Mosses & Lichens on Tiled Roofs

Gutters filled with leaves and other debris become clogged, especially if you have trees nearby.

Gutters should be cleaned at least twice a year (once in the spring and once in late autumn). That's a lot of trips up and down a ladder and few of us are that disciplined.

The problems of clogged gutters are endless:

  • Gutters can sag
  • Pull free from their fixings
  • Cause water overflow
  • Rot the fascia board
  • Cause paint to peel
  • Erode foundations
  • Splash against the building and wash out the petunias!
